The Normfortbildung Brand- und Katastrophenschutz is a training program offered by the Charitť Fortbildungsakademie. This program is designed for all employees of Charitť and its subsidiary companies, provided their workplace is located on a Charitť campus.

The course is conducted as a presence seminar, led by the fire protection officer and disaster control officer of Charitť.

The course lasts for one day.
Description
Participants in this program will be introduced to the procedures and guidelines of the valid alarm and deployment plans, as well as the fire protection regulations on their respective campus. The program includes practical training in fire extinguishing and a local tour to familiarize participants with emergency facilities, treatment areas, and patient routes. Additionally, participants will learn about the use of personal protective equipment and the operation of decontamination units.

- Alarm and deployment framework plan
- Alarm and deployment plan for external damage situations
- Alarm and deployment plan for decontamination situations
- Alarm and deployment plan for internal damage situations
- Campus-specific fire protection briefing
- Legal basics for fire protection helpers according to ASR 2.2 and BGI/GUV-I 5182 of the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance)
- Fire extinguishing exercise
Participation Fee
There is no participation fee for Charitť employees.
Repeat Participation
Participants are required to repeat this training every two years, alternating with the basic or advanced seminar.
