Description
The program enables participants to update their radiation protection expertise in accordance with the Radiation Protection Act. It consists of 6 teaching units, each 45 minutes long, and 1-3 elective modules that must be completed in advance.
Objective
The objective of the program is to update the participants' expertise in radiation protection.
Content
The program covers the following topics:
- Legal regulations and recommendations in the field of radiation protection
- Radiobiological basics, including the effects of small radiation doses
- Dose concepts and dosimetry
- Fundamentals and principles of radiation protection
- New procedures in radiation therapy
uclear medicine - Quality assurance
- State of the art in radiation protection
- New developments in device technology and their application
- Indication for examination with X-ray radiation, considering alternative diagnostic procedures
- Current developments in the field of quality assurance
- Changed legal regulations and recommendations
Requirements
Participants must provide proof of their last update of radiation protection expertise. Depending on their expertise, participants must complete 1-3 elective modules in advance.
Certification
The program is recognized by the State Office for Occupational Safety, Health Protection, and Technical Safety, and participants receive continuing education points from the Medical Association.
Fees
- The participation fee is waived for Charitť employees.
- The external participation fee is 190.00 .
