Overview

The Normfortbildung Brand- und Katastrophenschutz is a training program designed for employees of Charitť and its subsidiary companies, provided their workplace is located on a Charitť campus.

Target Group

The target group for this program includes all employees of Charitť and its subsidiary companies, whose workplace is located on a Charitť campus.

Requirements

The requirements for this program include participation every 2 years, alternating with the Normfortbildung/Grund- und Aufbauseminar.

Course Format

The course format is a presence seminar, which takes place on the Charitť campus.

Instructors

The instructors for this program are the fire protection officers and disaster control officers of Charitť.

Course Duration

The course duration is 8 hours.

Description

The participants will be introduced to the procedures and instructions of the valid alarm and deployment plans, as well as the fire protection regulations on the respective campus. The practical training includes fire extinguishing exercises. The participants will also learn about the emergency admissions, triage area, treatment areas, emergency management, and patient routes during a local tour. Additionally, the handling of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the setup and operation of decontamination units will be practiced. Depending on the weather, some practical parts may need to be adapted for safety reasons.

Content

The course content includes:

• Alarm and deployment framework plan
• Alarm and deployment plan for external damage situations
• Alarm and deployment plan for decontamination situations
• Alarm and deployment plan for internal damage situations
• Campus-specific fire protection instruction
• Legal basis for fire protection helpers according to ASR 2.2 and BGI/GUV-I 5182 of the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance)
• Fire extinguishing exercise

There is no participation fee for Charitť employees.

Access is only available for Charitť employees and subsidiary company employees whose workplace is located on a Charitť campus.
