Description
The program aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for the competent handling of biological substances and compliance with occupational safety regulations. According to the Occupational Safety Act (ArbSchG), all employees must undergo a risk assessment before starting work with biological substances. This program provides the necessary expertise for leaders to conduct these assessments and implement required safety measures.
Objective
The objective of the program is to impart knowledge and skills for the component "Competence in Occupational Safety" according to TRBA 200, to complete, supplement, or refresh the specialist knowledge in accordance with § 2 Abs. 11 BioStoffV. The program covers the basics and advanced knowledge for risk assessment and management in accordance with ArbSchG/BioStoffV, including legal foundations, information gathering, and the implementation of necessary protective measures.
