Description

The program aims to optimize participants' individual potential for effective communication in conversations, meetings, or when interacting with patients and their families. It focuses on making participants' verbal and non-verbal expressions visible and improving them to achieve a competent and lasting impression.

Objective

• Convince listeners through conscious and secure appearance.
• Deal sovereignly with nervousness.
• Develop a positive basic attitude towards speaking and one's voice.
• Structure content with simple and founded methods.
• Increase perception ability to optimize one's own behavior.

Content

• Factors influencing verbal and non-verbal communication: levers for competent and authentic appearance, including:
  • Rhetorical body posture as a starting point for a secure performance
  • What to do with your hands? The haven of gestures
  • Inclusive eye contact with micro-conversations
  • The chest tone of conviction
  • Linguistic structure with voice lowering and pauses
  • Clear vs. understandable speaking
  • Recognizing and training the connections between voice and body language
• Free speaking with and without notes
