Máster Universitario en Paisajismo (MBLandArch)

The Master's in Landscape Architecture (MBLandArch) provides updated responses to current landscape architecture issues. The knowledge and skills acquired enable students to analyze, plan, design, and manage landscapes, addressing new challenges posed by European directives, laws, and regulations related to landscape.

Datos Generales

• Duration and Start: 2 academic years, 120 ECTS credits, starting in September.
• Schedule and Modality: Afternoon, face-to-face.
• Prices and Scholarships: Approximate price of the master's without additional expenses (excluding non-teaching academic fees and title issuance): 2,324 € (5,400 € for non-EU residents). More information on prices and payment of enrollment, as well as scholarships and aid.

Requisitos Específicos

Access is also possible with degrees in Architecture, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, and other higher and technical engineering degrees related to territory.

Criterios de Admisión

• Academic record oriented towards the landscape area.
• Accreditation of professional practice in design teams.
• Basic drawing notions will be positively evaluated.
• Basic certificate of knowledge of Catalan or Spanish for non-Spanish speaking students.
• Portfolio of graphic works not exceeding 10 pages in PDF format.

Salidas Profesionales

Landscape architects work for planning consultancies, gardening and landscape companies, local government agencies in public works and parks, water agencies, and nature conservation organizations. Their work includes tasks such as:

• Landscape planning in urban land use, planning, and sectoral planning.
• Urban planning and town remodeling.
• Project planning and design.
• Environmental planning.
• Programs for leisure parks and large-scale landscape rehabilitation.
• Planning of green areas and open spaces as part of urban land use planning.
• Planning of national parks, biosphere reserves, and protected areas.

Competencias Transversales

Describe what a graduate can know or do upon completing their learning process, regardless of the degree. • Project and manage landscapes.
• Advise on plans, projects, and policies related to landscape intervention.
