Program Overview
Master's Degree in Automatic Systems Engineering and Industrial Electronics
The Master's Degree in Automatic Systems Engineering and Industrial Electronics is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to design and implement automatic and intelligent control systems. This includes process automation and robotisation, advanced control, low power design, embedded and mobile systems (Internet of Things) programming, communication in wired and wireless networks, and artificial intelligence techniques.
Program Overview
The program is offered by the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Vilanova i la Geltrú (EPSEVG) and is taught in Spanish. The duration of the program is 1.5 academic years, with 90 ECTS credits. The program starts in September and is delivered in the afternoons, face-to-face.
Tuition Fees
The approximate tuition fees for the program are 3,000 for European Union students and 9,800 for non-European Union students.

The language of instruction is Spanish.

Aims
The program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to design and implement automatic and intelligent control systems. The program develops the specialization in Intelligent Systems, which are systems that can relate the signals detected in the environment to the appropriate actions in accordance with dynamic needs and the need to take optimum decisions in circumstances that have not been explicitly foreseen.

- The ability to technically and economically manage projects, installations, plants, companies, and technology centers in the field of automatic control, robotics, and industrial electronics.
- The ability to research, design, develop, and characterize complex systems that must be controlled to achieve demanding levels of operational and safety performance.
- The ability to research, design, develop, and implement simulation methods for electronic, automatic, and robotic systems control.
- The ability to apply learning strategies in complex and dynamic environments.

Work Placement
