Beatriu de Pinós 2025
The Beatriu de Pinós programme is designed to award grants on a competitive basis for the employment and incorporation of postdoctoral researchers into the Catalan science and technology system.
Objectives
The primary objective of the Beatriu de Pinós programme is to support the employment and incorporation of postdoctoral researchers in Catalonia, promoting the development of the region's science and technology system.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Beatriu de Pinós programme, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Have obtained a PhD between January 1, 2018, and December 31, 2023.
- Have at least 2 years of postdoctoral experience outside Spain.
- Comply with the mobility rule: not have resided or worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years.
- Not have previously received a Beatriu de Pinós fellowship.
- Positions are reserved for persons with a disability 33%.
Application Requirements
Applications must be submitted online in two phases and must be accompanied by the specified documentation:
- First Phase: The candidate submits a provisional application, including a form and an annex with their CV, project, hosting environment, impact, and ethical implications.
- Second Phase: The beneficiary entity confirms the application via the BOGA platform.
Grant Details
- The awarded grants have a duration of three years.
- The maximum amount allocated to these grants is 149,396.00 for each 3-year contract, which includes:
- Salary: 37,392.00 per year.
- Social Security.
- Additional support for activities such as training and capacity building, travel, conferences, short stays, publications, intellectual property, IT equipment: 12,000.00 for the entire 3-year period.
- Severance pay upon termination of the contract.
Teaching
The grant recipient may impart a maximum of 100 hours per academic year.
