Introduction to the Senior University Diploma in Science, Technology, and Society

The University's mission includes facilitating lifelong learning to improve societal competencies and aptitudes. The Senior University Diploma in Science, Technology, and Society offers training for individuals over 55 years old. Currently, a third of Catalonia's population is above this age.

Presentation of the Program

The Senior University Diploma presents an opportunity to broaden and deepen multidisciplinary knowledge and share experiences within active working groups capable of culturally and socially dynamizing their environment.

Program Objectives

• Offer individuals over 55 the opportunity to pursue higher education, whether they have not had it before or wish to expand and deepen their knowledge in other areas.
• Promote the possibility of sharing experiences and knowledge within dynamic and motivated working groups.
• Form seniors capable of culturally and socially dynamizing their environment.

Target Audience
