Program Overview


Program Overview

The program in Rob·tica i Automatitzaciµ per a l'Automociµ (Robotics and Automation for the Automotive Industry) is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop projects in robotics and industrial automation in the automotive sector.


Presentation

This is the 4th edition of the program, with 20 ECTS credits, and is taught in Catalan and Spanish. The program is aimed at working professionals and has a presential modality.


Objectives

The objectives of the program are to:


  • Design and develop complex robotic systems in the automotive industry
  • Apply artificial vision methodologies and technologies to practical cases
  • Design and develop industrial automation technologies and applications
  • Apply knowledge and skills acquired in previous modules to create innovative academic projects related to improving the efficiency of productive systems in the automotive industry

Target Audience

The program is aimed at students with:


  • A university degree in Engineering (preferably in Electronic Industrial and Automatic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Telecommunication Systems Engineering)
  • A postgraduate degree (Master's degree)
  • A higher-level vocational training degree (FP) in Electricity and Electronics or Installation and Maintenance
  • Professional experience of at least 3 years in the field of industrial technologies and processes, especially in the automotive sector

Program Content

The program consists of the following modules:


  • Rob·tica per a l'automociµ (Robotics for the Automotive Industry) - 5 ECTS, 50 hours
  • Tecnologies de visiµ artificial (Artificial Vision Technologies) - 5 ECTS, 50 hours
  • Aplicacions per a l'automatitzaciµ industrial (Applications for Industrial Automation) - 5 ECTS, 50 hours
  • Desenvolupament de projectes (Project Development) - 5 ECTS, 50 hours
