Máster Universitario en Ingeniería de Automoción

The Máster Universitario en Ingeniería de Automoción aims to train automotive engineers with a high level of competence, enabling them to adapt easily to responsible positions in companies or research centers in the automotive sector.


Program Objectives

The program is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of the theoretical and practical foundations of automotive engineering and the technology associated with the production of automobiles. The program is structured into compulsory subjects that provide students with the necessary multidisciplinary training and optional subjects that allow students to complete their training in areas of interest.


Compulsory Subjects

The compulsory subjects provide knowledge and skills in the areas of:


  • Car body
  • Chassis components
  • Powertrain
  • Electricity and electronics
  • Management and planning

These subjects cover basic aspects of vehicle structure and mechanical systems, as well as control systems and electronic management, and planning and management of vehicle development and manufacturing.


Teaching Methodology

The program combines theoretical and practical activities (expository classes, autonomous study, exercise resolution, and laboratory practices) with guided visits to various industries and testing laboratories. An important part of student learning consists of solving synthesis problems or transversal projects through problem-based learning (PBL) activities, working mainly in small cooperative work groups.


Final Project and Internship

In the last semester, students have the opportunity to undertake a practical internship in a company in the sector or a research and development center. During this semester, students will work on their Master's Final Project.
