- CG4: Effective Oral and Written Communication: Ability to communicate orally and in writing with other people about the results of learning, elaboration of thought, and decision-making; participation in debates on topics of their own specialty.
- CG5: Teamwork: Ability to work as a member of a team, either as a regular member or performing management tasks, with the aim of contributing to the development of projects with pragmatism and a sense of responsibility, assuming commitments considering available resources.
- CG6: Solvent Use of Information Resources: Ability to manage the acquisition, structuring, analysis, and visualization of data and information in the area of specialization and to critically evaluate the results of this management.
- CG7: Autonomous Learning: Ability to detect gaps in one's own knowledge and overcome them through critical reflection and the choice of the best action to expand this knowledge.
- CG8: Ability to Identify and Solve Problems in the Field of Naval Engineering: Ability to pose and solve problems in the field of naval engineering, assuming initiatives, making decisions, and applying creative solutions within a systematic methodology.
- CG9: Ability to Conceive, Design, and Implement Complex Systems in the Field of Naval Engineering: Ability to conceive, design, and implement processes, systems, and/or services within the field of naval engineering, including the drafting and development of projects in the area of specialization.
Specific Competencies
The program also develops specific competencies related to the different modules of formation, including:
- CE-1 to CE-27: These competencies cover a wide range of skills from problem-solving in mathematics and physics to the knowledge of materials, machinery, and electrical systems in naval engineering, as well as project management and professional practice.

Structure of the Degree

- Basic Training Module: 60 ECTS, covering mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, and graphic expression.
- Common Module to the Naval Branch: 72 ECTS, including thermofluid dynamics, mechanics, resistance, and technology of materials, electronics, electrotechnics, and automation.
- Specific Technology Module in Propulsion and Ship Services: 66 ECTS, focusing on machinery, equipment, and naval systems, project methods for propulsion and auxiliary systems, and processes for mechanical manufacturing and assembly on board.
- Optional Module: 18 ECTS, allowing students to choose from various subjects to deepen their knowledge in specific areas.
- Final Degree Project: 24 ECTS, where students apply the knowledge and skills acquired to a real project in the field of naval engineering.
