  • Subjects are structured in different blocks: bridge subjects, core subjects, elective subjects, and master's thesis.
  • The master's thesis has a duration of 20 ECTS and can be developed in companies or at research groups.

Professional Opportunities

  • Given the cross-disciplinary nature of electronics, graduates of this degree may pursue careers in a broad range of sectors related to electronic technology.
  • Companies operating in these sectors offer high added value in terms of technology and are therefore in need of professionals trained to master's degree level.

Competencies

  • Generic competencies include capacity for innovation and entrepreneurship, sustainability and social commitment, knowledge of a foreign language, teamwork, and proper use of information resources.
  • Specific competences include modeling, designing, and controlling power electronic systems, conceiving and designing electronic circuits, and analyzing and designing micro-and nanoelectronic devices.

Double-Degree Agreements

  • The program has double-degree agreements with other international universities, which can be consulted on the Barcelona School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB) website.

Quality Accreditation

  • The degree's main quality indicators can be found in the University Studies in Catalonia portal of the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency, including degree evaluation results, student satisfaction, and graduate employment data.

Organisation: Academic Calendar and Regulations

  • The organizing teaching center is the Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering of Barcelona (ETSETB).
