Introduction to the University Program

The Escola Superior d'Enginyeries Industrial, Aeroespacial i Audiovisual de Terrassa (ESEIAAT) offers a variety of programs for students.

Program Details

Disseny CAD 3D amb el software Catia

This course introduces students to the CATIA 3D design software and its applications in industry.

• The course is aimed at students in their 3rd and 4th years, as well as those in ESO, Batxillerat, and Cicles formatius.
• The duration of the course is 20 hours.
• It will take place from July 8 to 11, 2025, from 9 am to 2 pm.
• The location is ESEIAAT, PC 5/6 or PC 3/4 of the edif. TR5, carrer Colom 11, Terrassa.
• The price is 200 euros.
• There are no prior knowledge requirements, and the course will start from the basics.
• The course objectives include introducing students to the world of 3D design and engineering, teaching them to design parts and assemblies in 3D using CATIA V6, and enabling them to work on industrial design projects.

Course Methodology

• The course will be entirely face-to-face.
• The methodology will involve theoretical and practical work with the student, using examples and a small project.
• The course will cover the Part Design and Assembly Design modules of CATIA V6.
