Open Learning for Audit
Introduction
Open Learning for audit is ideal for individuals who want to explore university-level learning without the pressure of assessments or exams. This program allows participants to stay intellectually engaged and follow their curiosity.
Program Details
- Participants can select from over 450 modules at the undergraduate level.
- Modules can be taken in either Autumn (Trimester 1) or Spring (Trimester 2).
- Participants will join UCD students in lectures, labs, tutorials, and seminars.
- The program does not accumulate credit towards an award.
Applying
Application Process
- Applications for Open Learning are made directly to Access and Lifelong Learning.
- Once the application is assessed, a formal offer will be made via email.
- Upon acceptance, another email with a link to register for the specific module will be sent within 2-3 working days.
Module Selection
- Module selection will not be available during the application process.
- An email notification will be sent when it is time to choose modules at the end of August or beginning of September.

Deposit and Fee Information
- A 100 deposit is required at the time of accepting the offer.
- Each audit module costs 400.
