Program Overview


Year Long Internship Programme

The Quinn School partners with a range of companies to offer internships across various business disciplines. The year-long paid internship programme provides employers with the opportunity to introduce new skills and ideas to their workplace. Each year, over 250 students are accepted onto the Internship Programme.


Overview of the Programme

  • The internship is an optional programme open to penultimate year students on the Bachelor of Commerce, BSc Business, and BSc Economics & Finance degrees.
  • Placement on the programme is competitive, and only the highest performing students are selected.
  • Successful candidates will have completed 2 years of study before completing their internship.
  • They will remain fully registered students during the internship and complete an academic component in conjunction with a full working week.
  • Following the internship, students return to UCD to complete their final year of study.

  • Students accepted onto the Internship Programme commit to engage fully with workplace experience, including orientation, training, a full working week, and normal employment responsibilities.
