Course Overview
This course is aimed at faculty, research staff, technical officers, and postgraduate researchers working with nanomaterials as part of their role. The course provides information on statutory requirements and best practice when working with nanomaterials, as well as the practical aspects of working safely with nanomaterials in the laboratory setting.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, participants will have an understanding of the principles of nanomaterials safety, the risk factors to consider, and will be able to conduct risk assessments on the safe use of nanomaterials within the laboratory in accordance with the requirements of relevant legislation and best practice.
