Bachelor Biomedical Engineering
Program Overview
Bachelor Biomedical Engineering
The Biomedical Engineering program at TU/e trains students to build bridges between science and the latest healthcare technology. With a strong focus on societal challenges, students combine knowledge from biology, physics, chemistry, and mathematics with engineering.
Program Details
- ECTS points: 180
- Education type: Bachelor program
- Duration: Three years
- Language: Dutch and English
- Degree: Bachelor of Science
Admission Requirements
- A VWO diploma with Mathematics B, Physics, and Chemistry is required.
- An affinity for technology is also necessary.
- A study choice check must be completed before starting the program.
- Because the program is partially taught in Dutch, a Dutch language requirement applies in addition to the English language requirement.
Program Structure
The first year provides a solid, broad foundation. Students then follow one of two core programs: Biomedical Engineering (BME) or Medical Sciences and Technology (MST).
