Program Overview

Bachelor Biomedische Technologie

The Bachelor's program in Biomedische Technologie at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is a three-year program that focuses on the development of medical technology. The program combines knowledge from biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics to design and develop technological solutions for medical applications.

Studieopbouw

The program consists of a broad foundation in the first year, followed by a choice of two core programs: Biomedische Technologie (BMT) or Medische Wetenschappen en Technologie (MWT). Both programs combine natural sciences and technical subjects, but with different emphases. BMT focuses more on technical subjects, while MWT delves deeper into the biomedical background of diseases and uses technology as a tool.

Toelatingseisen & Aanmelden

To be admitted to the program, students must have a Dutch pre-university diploma (VWO) with mathematics B, physics, and chemistry in their curriculum. International students must have a comparable diploma. Before starting the program, students must also complete a study choice check.
