Program Overview
Coaching and Career Orientation
The Graduate School at Eindhoven University of Technology emphasizes the importance of students taking responsibility for building their own future. This involves working independently towards personal goals, creating a study plan, developing professional skills, and exploring career possibilities.
Mentor
Each student in the master's program has a personal mentor assigned to them. The mentor's primary role is to support the student in achieving the best possible start to their career. The mentor is available to help with questions regarding course selection, professional skill development, and career planning. They can suggest challenging courses, introduce students to relevant research departments and companies, and assist in choosing a career profile.
With the mentor, students should:
- Discuss and develop their personal study plan (PSP)
- Discuss their personal development plan regarding Professional Skills
- Sign the declaration concerning the TU/e Code of Scientific Conduct
Mentors are assigned by the coordinator of the unit responsible for the student's track. Students should contact the coordinator as soon as possible to arrange this.
