Leergang Chief Medical Information Officer & Chief Nursing Information Officer

The role of informatics in healthcare is significant and continues to grow. The possibilities are endless, the patient plays an increasingly important role, and data is central.

To answer questions about the role of the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) and Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO), a broad basic knowledge of the application of informatics is necessary. The Clinical Informatics training has set up a training course that covers this basic knowledge in 10 modules. The modules are divided over two years, covering various aspects.

Modules and Dates

The training course consists of 10 modules, each with a specific topic and date.

• Module 5: Standaarden en afsprakenstelsels (Standards and agreement systems)

• Module 7: Zorgapplicaties en koppelingen (Health applications and links)

Practical Matters

• 1 evening session per module from 15:00 to 20:30.
• Location: various locations (Utrecht, Amersfoort, Driebergen).
• Extensive literature is provided for each module.
• Costs: 4,500 for the entire course; 500 per individual module (including catering).
• The entire course has a scope of 3 ECTS.
• If you follow the entire course, you are eligible for 1 Microcredential.
