Master Construction Management and Engineering
The Master's program in Construction Management and Engineering (CME) is a two-year program that focuses on the management and engineering of construction projects. The program has three pillars:
- Core courses (30 EC): Provides a solid foundation in construction management and engineering, including project management, system dynamics, and process modeling.
- Specialization courses (35 EC) and elective courses (15 EC): Allows students to specialize in a specific area, such as construction management, engineering, or sustainability.
- Graduation project (40 EC): Students work on a research project, often in collaboration with industry partners, to develop and manage information processes in construction projects.
Research Areas
The CME program is based on two scientific domains:
- Urban/Building Sciences and Systems: Focuses on the design, construction, and management of buildings and urban environments.
- Management and Innovation Sciences: Examines the management and innovation of construction projects, including project management, supply chain management, and innovation management.

Onderzoek
The research activities of the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning are organized within the Design and Decision Support Systems (DDSS) program. The research activities of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences are combined in the Beta research school for Operations Management and Logistics.

The DDSS program focuses on the development and application of design and decision support systems in construction and urban planning.

The Beta research school is a leading research institution in the field of operations management and logistics, with a focus on the development and application of innovative management and logistics concepts.
