Program Overview


Program Overview

The Human-Technology Interaction (HTI) program is a master's program that focuses on the interaction between humans and technology. The program is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of the complex relationships between humans, technology, and society.


Curriculum

The curriculum for the HTI program is divided into several components:


  • Core courses (25 ECTS): These courses provide a foundation in the principles of human-technology interaction and include courses such as Overview HTI, UX Design, Advanced Data Analysis, and Research project.
    • 0HM100: Overview HTI
    • 0HM110: UX Design (Design Track A)
    • 0HM120: Advanced Data Analysis
    • 0HM170: Research project (Design Track B + Research project) (10 ECTS)
  • Track courses (a minimum of 25 ECTS): These courses are separated into two categories:
    • B1: Choose at least 2 courses (10 ECTS)
      • 0HM130: Advanced Cognition
      • 0HM140: Advanced Perception
      • 0HM150: Advanced Cognitive Engineering
      • 0HM160: Advanced Social Psychology and Consumer Behavior
    • B2: Choose at least 3 courses from B1 or B2 (15 ECTS)
      • 0HM200: Psychology of Light and Time
      • 0HM220: Network Society
      • 0HM240: The Quantified Self in Health
      • 0HM250: Online Behavior
      • 0HM260: Environmental Psychology
      • 0HM270: Super Crunchers
      • 0HM280: Human Robot Interaction
      • 0HM340: Human-AI interaction
  • Electives in a technical domain (engineering courses) (15 ECTS)
  • International semester (a minimum of 15 ECTS) and Electives (together 30 ECTS)
  • Graduation project (30 ECTS)
