Program Overview
The master program of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (DS&AI) is a comprehensive program that consists of a total of 120 credits. The program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in data science and artificial intelligence, as well as the opportunity to specialize in specific areas of interest.
Program Structure
The program is structured into several components, including:
- Mandatory core courses (30 credits)
- Specialization (30 credits)
- Free electives (15 credits)
- Study and Career Orientation Program (SCOP/e) (0 credits)
- Graduation phase (45 credits)
Specialization
The specialization component allows students to choose two trajectories as "major" trajectories and follow the guidelines below:
- Major trajectories: students select 2 core or specialization electives of each of their 2 "major" trajectories (20 credits total)
- Minor electives: students select 2 core or specialization electives that are NOT in their "major" trajectories (10 credits total)
Graduation Phase
The graduation phase consists of:
- Seminar (5 credits)
- Preparation Graduation Project (10 credits)
- Master Project (30 credits)

- Data Engineering & Management
- Algorithmic Data Analysis
- Process Mining & Visual Analytics
- Statistics
- Data Mining & Machine Learning
- AI & Machine Learning
