Coaching and Professional Skills

Every student will be assigned to a coach (called a mentor). A mentor helps the student in making choices regarding courses, profile, specialization, internship, internationalization, and the Final Project, as well as in considering different career opportunities.


The TU/e Skills Lab offers ample opportunities for developing professional skills. Workshops on professional skills are also offered through the mandatory course Professional Portfolio.


Academic Advisor

Academic Advisors are a resource for students on a variety of topics, including questions about the program, courses, curriculum, the department, or personal topics that affect study. They may request students to schedule an appointment based on study progress and refer them to other campus resources if necessary.
