Program Overview


Information Security Technology Master's Program

The Master track Information Security Technology is a two-year program of 120 credits in total. The academic year is subdivided into two semesters, the fall semester starting in September, and the spring semester starting in February. The program is only offered as a full-time study program.


Curriculum Structure

Program Details

The Master track Information Security Technology is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of information security technology. The program is divided into two semesters, with a mandatory core program and elective courses.


Curriculum IST

For students that have started their program prior to 2021, the graduation phase is 30 credits and does not include a preparation phase of 10 credits. Please see the PER for all regulations regarding the older curricula.

The program includes free electives, which allow students to tailor their studies to their interests and career goals.


Admission to Seminars, Capita Selecta, Master Project

The program includes admission to seminars, capita selecta, and a master project, which provide students with hands-on experience and the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems.
