Introduction to the Micro-Credential Program

The Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) presents the micro-credential "Volunteering and Social Action: Tools for the Exercise of Voluntary Action," a training program designed to provide skills in solidarity, social participation, and volunteering.

Program Details

• Duration: The program will run from January 26 to March 27, 2026.
• Format: This is a blended learning course, combining in-person sessions at the UAM Faculty of Psychology with online training.
• Target Audience: The program is aimed at both students and professionals interested in the field of volunteering and social action.

Credits and Places

• ECTS Credits: The microcredit course offers 3 ECTS credits.
• Maximum Places: There is a maximum of 80 places available, with a minimum of 60 required for the program to be offered.

Fees and Scholarships

• Registration Fee: The registration fee is €100.
• Reduced Rate: A reduced rate of €90 is available for members of the UAM community and associated groups.
• Scholarships: Scholarships will be awarded, covering 10% of the places, prioritizing economic, academic, and motivational criteria.

Assessment

• Knowledge Tests: Assessment will be based on knowledge tests.
• Practical Exercises: Practical exercises will also be part of the assessment.
• Final Project: A final project consisting of the design of a volunteer program will be required.
