Program Overview

Program Description

The Microtítulo en Programación is a university program designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to automate tasks and manage data through the development of computer applications. The program aims to equip students with the capabilities to design, develop, and maintain computer applications, which are essential in today's industrial, scientific, and service-oriented environments.


Admission Profile

The program is targeted at students who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of programming and automation of tasks. It is particularly suitable for students from experimental and applied sciences backgrounds, such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Economics, and Medicine, who require data treatment, task automation, and development of statistical programs.


Selection Criteria

Students will be selected based on their academic background, with preference given to those who have acquired sufficient mathematical training to tackle the program's content. Students from engineering and related fields are also encouraged to apply.


Enrollment Conditions

To enroll in the program, students must complete the three compulsory courses (1), (2), and (3) in consecutive order, followed by one of the two optional courses. Students who are currently enrolled in or have completed the Grado en Ciencia e Ingeniería de Datos, Grado en Ingeniería de Tecnologías y Servicios de Telecomunicación, or Grado en Ingeniería Informática at the UAM are not eligible for this program.
