The reception of Vocational Training students to carry out FCT stays is a voluntary activity that any member of the PDI and PTGAS groups of the UAM can opt for.

Work Placements at the UAM

• The reception of Vocational Training students to carry out FCT stays is the responsibility of the person offering said stays and, therefore, the management of said stays, the coordination, the communication with the educational centers and with the students and the documentary management that this entails, are the responsibility of the person offering them (hereinafter UAM Tutor).
• As many stays as deemed appropriate can be offered, and these can be directed to students of any course and level of vocational training cycles, except for Dual Training Cycles.

How to Become a Tutor for FCT Placements at the UAM

If you wish to offer any type of FCT placements in your department or service, the procedure to follow is as follows:

• Contact the educational institution offering the vocational training program for which you are offering work placements.
• Agree on the details of the work placements with the educational center, including the training cycle to which the students belong, the dates and times of the placements, as well as the specific location and address.
• Check if the educational institution has a signed exchange agreement with the UAM.
• Process the agreement if necessary.
• Prepare, together with the students' educational center, Annex 2.1 (List of Students) and the Training Program.

How to Apply for FCT Stays at UAM

If you, as a Vocational Training Educational Center, want to request FCT stays at the UAM, you have to do it directly in the department or service of your interest and it will be the heads of that department or service who decide whether or not they consider it appropriate to host your students.

• If you decide to host students, the UAM tutors will be the contacts between your educational center and the UAM, and they will tell you how to manage the corresponding documentation.
