Introduction to the Microcredencial Program

The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), in alliance with the Plataforma de Voluntariado de Espańa, presents the first edition of the microcredencial "Voluntariado y acción social. Herramientas para el ejercicio de la acción voluntaria". This training is designed to capacitate individuals in solidarity, social participation, and volunteering.

Program Details

• The program is a semipresential course, combining presential sessions at the Facultad de Psicología de la UAM with online training.
• It is directed towards students and professionals interested in the field of volunteering and social action.
• The course will take place between January 26 and March 27, 2026.

Program Structure

• The program includes five key modules:
  1. Volunteering as a form of social participation
  2. Design, development, and evaluation of programs
  3. Regulatory framework
  4. Transversal elements in volunteering
  5. Interpersonal communication as a fundamental competence

Evaluation and Credits

• The microcredencial offers 3 ECTS credits.
• The evaluation will be based on knowledge tests, practical exercises, and a final project consisting of the design of a volunteering program.

Admission and Fees

• The program has a maximum of 80 places (minimum 60 for its implementation).
• The registration fee is 100, with a reduced rate of 90 for members of the UAM community and associated groups.
• Scholarships will be awarded to cover 10% of the places, prioritizing economic, academic, and motivational criteria.
