Program Overview
Title of Expert in University Teaching Methodology
The overall objective of TEMDU is to promote the improvement of the quality of university teaching and to implement the UAM's professional development framework for faculty. To achieve this, it pursues the following specific objectives:
- To provide teacher training throughout the entire professional career of the UAM teaching and research staff, so that they learn to adapt teaching and evaluation activities to different contexts and incorporate new skills.
- To encourage ongoing reflection on one's own teaching practice and to promote the incorporation of methodological innovations that improve student learning.
- To offer an environment that allows the exchange of experiences and best practices with teachers from other disciplines, in order to promote the creation of communities of practice that result in the improvement of teaching at the UAM.
