Introduction

The Máster Universitario en Educación para la Justicia Social is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to initiate a research career and/or improve their professional specialization within the field of education committed to society. The program aims to foster critical reflection on problems of exclusion and social injustice, enable the valuation of the role of education in transforming society, and provide resources to achieve education in and from Social Justice.

Description of the Title

The Master's program in Education for Social Justice is designed to train students to start a research career and/or improve their professional specialization in the field of education committed to society. This involves fostering a critical reflection on problems of exclusion and social injustice, valuing the role of education in transforming society, and providing resources to achieve education in and from Social Justice.

Admission and Enrollment

Requirements for Access and Admission

To be admitted, applicants must:


  • Hold an official university degree in Bachelor's, Bachelor's, Engineer, Architect, Diplomate, Technical Engineer, Technical Architect, or equivalent.
  • For foreign university degrees, admission is possible after homologation to a Spanish degree or with prior verification that these studies accredit a level of training equivalent to official Spanish titles and facilitate access to postgraduate studies in the country where the title was issued.

Profile of Admission

The profile corresponds to university graduates who have studied Bachelor's degrees in Primary Education, Pedagogy, Psychology, Psychopedagogy, Social Work, and/or equivalent studies. However, given the interdisciplinary nature of the Master's program, students from other careers who demonstrate an interest in research and reflection from Education on Social Justice will also be considered.
