Introduction to the 4ş ESO + Empresa Program

The 4ş ESO + Empresa program is an educational initiative launched by the Consejería de Educación y Juventud de la Comunidad de Madrid in collaboration with educational institutions and companies. This program offers brief educational stays, lasting from 3 to 5 days, to 4th-year ESO students, aiming to enrich their education and introduce them to real work environments that they will be a part of in the near future.

Program Details

• The program is designed for 4th-year ESO students.
• It provides brief educational stays of 3 to 5 days.
• The goal is to enrich the students' education and familiarize them with real work environments.

Universidad Autónoma de Madrid's Participation

In the past course, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) participated in the program with an ambitious educational project that included 95 educational centers and 173 students who carried out their stays in 38 different departments/services of the university. This participation gave the UAM's involvement in the program significant visibility.

UAM's Offer for the Course 2025

For the course 2025, the UAM is offering 4-day stays divided into two turns:

• The first turn is from March 17 to 20.
• The second turn is from April 7 to 10.
• The first day of each turn is reserved for a joint activity with all participating students, which will take place at the Cantoblanco Campus.
• The remaining three days will be spent in the specific departments or services of the stay, mostly located at the Cantoblanco Campus, and to a lesser extent, at the Medicine Campus or in some of the university's Teaching Clinical Units.

Agreement and Participation

Educational centers participating in the program will sign a collaboration agreement with the UAM for each student assigned a place in one of the UAM's stays, following the norms and model established by the Comunidad de Madrid.

Program Structure

• Duration: 4 days.
• Location: Mostly at the Cantoblanco Campus, with some activities at the Medicine Campus or Teaching Clinical Units.
• Activities: Includes a joint activity on the first day and specific department/service activities for the remaining days.

Application Process

• Educational centers can apply for their students' participation by filling out the provided form.
• It is essential to read the UAM's Educational Program for the course 2025 before submitting the application.
• The application form and the program details are available for download.

Important Notes

• Places are awarded after the application deadline, once all requests from educational centers have been collected.
• Given the high demand for the program, submitting an application does not automatically guarantee a place.
• Application Period: From December 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025.
