Forensic Photography Course Details
Course Overview
The Forensic Photography course is designed to provide participants with comprehensive theory and practical training in forensic photography. The course covers the operation of DSLR cameras, settings for different lighting conditions, distances, angles, photo altering, and photo shopping.

Target Audience
The course is intended for Forensic Pathology Officers, Forensic Practitioners, Postgraduate Forensic Science Students, and individuals with an interest in Forensic Science and/or Forensic Pathology.
Entry Requirements
Proficiency in English is required for participation in the course.
Course Content
The course content includes:
- Introduction to Camera/Light
- Understanding exposure and the exposure triangle
- Semi-auto and manual modes
- Understanding crime scene investigation and how to approach a crime scene
Delivery Method
The course will be delivered in person through lectures, practical sessions, and interactive Q&A sessions, followed by a post-course online evaluation and assessment.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, participants will:
- Develop a clear understanding of the operation of a DSLR camera
- Learn how to approach a crime scene and perform crime scene photography and investigation
- Learn fingerprinting methodology and techniques
- Learn to complete an affidavit statement
Certification
A digital certificate of completion will be issued to participants who successfully complete the course.
