Introduction

The Medical Practitioner Billing course is designed for private sector healthcare professionals, their employees, and public sector healthcare employees. The course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the National Health Reference Price List (NHRPL) structure.

• Age edits governing the NHRPL structure
• The bundling rule
• The use of multiple coding

Course Format

The course is available in two formats:

• Live lectures via Microsoft Teams
• Distance learning (e-learning)

Live Lectures via MS Teams

• Live lectures will only proceed if a minimum of 12 registrations is met.
• Participants will be notified once the course is confirmed, and payment of the course fee will be requested.

Distance Learning / E-Learning

• The course has been converted to e-learning, allowing participants to complete the course online for self-study.
• Participants will have access to the course material online and will need to complete an online assessment within 6 weeks.
• There are no specified start dates for the e-learning course, and participants can start at any time.

Certification

A digital certificate of attendance will be issued to participants who complete the course.

Group Bookings

Group bookings of a minimum of 12 participants can be arranged on request.

Registration

To register, participants need to complete the registration form and provide a copy of their Grade 12 certificate (and/or highest qualification).
