Master of Applied Finance
About the Programme
The Master of Applied Finance is a professional Master's degree that aims to equip successful candidates with the skills to perform research, analysis, and valuations in all areas of financial management, including capital markets, derivatives, corporate finance, accounting, and company valuations.
Programme Structure
The programme consists of three coursework modules. Instead of completing a minor dissertation, students will be required to complete a series of minor research reports on special topics in finance. Lectures are face-to-face, typically in the evenings and Saturday mornings.
Entrance Requirements
- An Honours degree or equivalent, ideally in finance or a related discipline.
- Two years of relevant work experience, and candidates may be required to present themselves for an interview.
Duration
The degree is offered over two years.
