Program Details

• Course Introduction: This course takes a broad view of still life painting, unbound by the conventional genre created in the modern era. It encompasses any decorative depiction of people or objects as still life painting. From this perspective, the world of Rembrandt and Vermeer is seen as particularly charming, inviting participants to explore it together.

Course Description

The course explores the concept of still life painting in a wide sense, including any decorative depictions of people or objects, and examines the worlds of Rembrandt and Vermeer from this standpoint.
