The 2026 "Discovery at HUST" - Sustainable Development of the Chinese Economy Program is a 14-day international summer school program centered on the theme of "Sustainable Development of China's Economy". - Corporate Visits to Experience Innovation: Participants will visit tech giants like Xiaomi and FiberHome to witness China's technological advancement and industrial upgrading firsthand.
- Cultural Immersion for a Deeper Understanding: Participants will engage in cultural lectures, explore historical sites, and experience the richness of Chinese culture.
- Green Practices Highlighting Sustainable Achievements: Participants will cycle around East Lake, visit rural revitalization projects, and see how China balances ecological protection with urban-rural development.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, applicants must:
- Be citizens from the U.S. or European countries
- Be 18-30 years old, with strong English proficiency
- Be enrolled at universities in the U.S. or European countries
- Preferably be economics majors or minors

About the School of Economics
The School of Economics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology is a leading economics institution in China.
