- The PhD program is based on the supervisor-responsibility system.
- PhD candidates should review the latest literatures, write and submit a thesis proposal, and present the proposal to the relevant experts.
- PhD candidates should present the progresses of the dissertation and submit progress reports for reviewing.
- PhD candidates should attend national and international academic conferences and submit a conference paper or present at the conference.
- PhD candidates must attend the public academic lectures at least 10 times and take notes.
- PhD candidates should take 1st-level interdisciplinary courses and participate in academic activities.
- The main innovation parts of the dissertation should be published in important national and international academic journals.
- The thesis should be approved by the supervisor and pass the concealed evaluation organized by the department.
- After passing the degree thesis review process, the thesis defense can be arranged.
- If the allegation of a serious academic misconduct against a student is proved, the student's application for the degree will be cancelled.
