Program Overview

Optikerprogrammet

The Optikerprogrammet is a university program that educates future opticians and specialists in clinical optometry. The program offers synundersökningar (vision examinations) at lower prices, conducted by students under the supervision of licensed opticians.

Synundersökning

• Time: 60-90 minutes
• Ordinary price: 100 kr
• Price for students with Mecenatkort: 50 kr
• The examination is conducted by students in their second or third year of the Optikerprogrammet, under the supervision of a licensed optician.
• A prescription for glasses is included in the price.

Kontaktlinsundersökning och tillpassning

• Time: 90 minutes
• Ordinary price: 100 kr
• Price for students with Mecenatkort: 50 kr
• The examination is conducted by students in their third and final year of the Optikerprogrammet, under the supervision of a licensed optician.
• Sometimes, one or more follow-up visits are required before a prescription for contact lenses can be issued, at no extra cost.

Ögonhälsoundersökning

• Time: 90 minutes
• Price: 490 kr
• The examination is conducted by a student who is already a licensed optician and is further educating themselves to become a specialist in clinical optometry.
• The examination includes a regular vision test, and the student screens for eye diseases under the supervision of a licensed optician.

• Synundersökning: 100 kr (50 kr for students)
• Kontaktlinsundersökning och tillpassning: 100 kr (50 kr for students)
• Ögonhälsoundersökning: 490 kr
• Payment methods: card or Swish. Frikort is not accepted.

The clinic is open during term time, with the following hours:

• Monday: 9:00-16:00
• Tuesday: 12:30-16:00
• Wednesday: 9:00-16:00
• Thursday: 9:00-15:00
• Friday: 9:00-15:00
• Lunch break: 11:30-12:30 every day

Bookings can be made through the clinic's booking system. Note that the clinic is only open during term time.
