The Master's Programme in Nutrition Science is a 120-credit program that aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of nutrition science and its applications.

- Diet and physical activity - interventions and digital health (8 credits)
- Monitoring of non-communicable diseases, large scale data collection, analysis and data visualizations (7 credits)
Course Description: Diet and Physical Activity - Interventions and Digital Health
This course aims to give students a deeper understanding and knowledge in intervention studies in the field of nutrition and physical activity, especially interventions that use tools in digital health (eHealth and mHealth).
Syllabus
The syllabus for this course includes current literature and research in the field of nutrition and physical activity interventions.
Introduction to the Course
This course covers study planning, study design (randomized controlled trials), and evaluation (data analyses and interpretation of results). Students will write a study protocol for a randomized controlled intervention study and discuss how to develop the components of an intervention, which methods are used to measure outcome measures, and how to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention.
Teaching Methods and Examination
This course consists of seminars, group work, lectures, exercises, and discussions. The examination consists of a written exam, a group work, and an individual written report.
