Program Overview
Master's Programme in Public Health Sciences
The Master's Programme in Public Health Sciences is designed for students attending the program. The application process for exchange studies consists of two steps:
- Apply for an exchange at Karolinska Institutet (KI) via Mobility Online. If the application is successful, KI will nominate the student for exchange studies.
- Apply to the partner institution. After nomination, the student will need to apply directly to the partner university.
How to Apply
The application process involves the following steps:
- Create an account on the Mobility Online database.
- Upload the required documents and complete the application.
What to Include in the Application
The following documents are required:
- Application form: Download and upload a completed copy of the online application from Mobility Online.
- Curriculum vitae (CV): The CV should be clear, well-structured, and easy to read. The Europass CV template can be used as a guide.
- Transcript of records: Submit an English version of the transcript from Ladok.
- Motivation letter: The personal statement of motivation should be written in English and be a maximum of one A4 page in length. The letter should present the student briefly and state why they wish to take part in an exchange.
- Reference letter: A letter of reference from a lecturer or equivalent at KI. The reference should state how the lecturer assesses the student's capacity to cope with a study period abroad and their ability to function as a representative of KI.

The online application form is available on the Mobility Online database.
Documents
A reference letter template is available for use. The template can be downloaded and used as a guide for the reference letter.
