Program Overview
The L鄢arprogrammet, a 5.5-year program, offers a comprehensive education in medicine, with a focus on clinical medicine and research. The program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in medical sciences, as well as practical skills and experience in clinical settings.
Program Structure
The program consists of several moments, including:
- Moment Utveckling (10 hp): This moment focuses on the development of clinical skills and knowledge in pediatrics and child health.
- Moment Reproduktion (10 hp): This moment covers the basics of reproductive medicine, including obstetrics and gynecology.
- Moment Klinisk Genetik (2 hp): This moment introduces students to the principles of clinical genetics and their application in medical practice.
- Moment PU (0.5 hp): This moment focuses on professional development and the acquisition of skills necessary for a successful medical career.
Learning Agreement
Before the exchange, students must create a Learning Agreement, which outlines the courses and activities they will undertake during their exchange. The agreement must be signed by the student, the coordinator, and the partner university.
Exchange Studies
Students have the opportunity to participate in exchange studies during the program. The exchange studies must be approved by the coordinator and the partner university, and students must ensure that the courses they take abroad match the requirements of the program.
Loggbok
During the exchange, students must keep a logbook, which documents their experiences, activities, and achievements. The logbook must be signed by the supervisor or coordinator at the partner university.
Clinical Assessment Form
Students must also complete a Clinical Assessment Form, which evaluates their clinical skills and knowledge. The form must be signed by the supervisor or coordinator at the partner university.
Transcript of Records
After completing the exchange, students must obtain a Transcript of Records from the partner university, which confirms their completion of the courses and activities outlined in the Learning Agreement.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Students who have completed courses or activities during their exchange may be eligible for recognition of prior learning. The recognition process involves an assessment of the student's prior learning and experience, and may result in the awarding of credits or exemptions from certain courses.
