Program Overview
Physiotherapist programme
The Fysioterapeutprogrammet is a university program that includes business-integrated learning (VIL) and business-based learning (VFU), providing students with the opportunity to develop their professional approach and identity. The program allows students to apply and integrate theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Business Integrated Learning (VIL)
VIL is a collective term for pedagogical models that build on collaboration and integration between higher education and working life. VIL can take the form of activity-based training (VFU), study visits, auscultation, hospitalization, or field studies within open and closed healthcare, care, or other relevant activities.
Business-based Education (VFU)
The operational education on the physiotherapist program takes place within Region Stockholm or in municipalities and private operations in Stockholm County. The VIL policy for the physiotherapist program contains information on what applies to placements, travel routes, and study time.
