Verksamhetsintegrerat lðrande (VIL)

Verksamhetsintegrerat lðrande (VIL) is a pedagogical model that combines higher education and working life. VIL can take the form of verksamhetsf—rlagd utbildning (VFU), study visits, auscultation, hospitation, or field studies in open and closed healthcare, care, or other relevant activities.

UniversitetstandvÍrden

Preclinical/clinical skills training on the Tandhygienistprogrammet takes place primarily at the UniversitetstandvÍrden clinics at Karolinska Institutet. The UniversitetstandvÍrden is where future dental care personnel, such as dentists, dental hygienists, and specialist dentists, are trained. The clinics and researchers work together to contribute to the institution's vision of being a world leader in oral health and improving people's quality of life.

VFU

Verksamhetsf—rlagd utbildning (VFU) is included in the program on term 6, with training in pedodontics with children and adolescents in FolktandvÍrden, Region Stockholm.

Hðlsodeklaration och hðlsointyg

Before students participate in auscultation (observation) within Region Stockholm on term 1 on the course Oral hðlsa - klinik 1, each student must submit a health declaration and obtain a health certificate. The same health certificate can then be used for the student's VFU on term 6 on the course Oral hðlsa - klinik 6.
