Mål
- After completing the course, the student should:
- have in-depth knowledge of and be able to describe the etiology, pathophysiology, symptomatology, and pharmacology of glaucoma,
- have knowledge of treatment methods and their purposes,
- be able to apply special examination methods, with particular emphasis on quality, safety, and ethics, to independently practice their profession in structured glaucoma care.

Arbetsformer
- Through lectures, literature reviews, seminars, and group work, the student should be given the opportunity to absorb the course's many aspects. The theoretical parts of the course are largely conducted via KI's learning platform, using lectures, literature references, self-evaluation questions, and assignments. The course is mainly given remotely, but physical course meetings occur.
Examination
- The course is examined in the form of written assignments and an examination seminar with case review.
- Mandatory participation: Participation in seminars/course meetings.
- Absence from or failure to complete mandatory educational components
- The examiner assesses whether and, if so, how absence from or failure to complete mandatory educational components can be made up. Before the participant has participated in or completed the mandatory educational components, or made up for absence/deficiencies in accordance with the examiner's instructions, the study results cannot be finalized.
