Program Overview

The complementary education program for physiotherapists with a foreign degree from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to practice as physiotherapists in Sweden.

Program Structure

The program includes the following courses:

• Fysioterapi som ämne och yrke inom svensk hälso- och sjukvĺrd (5 hp)
• Undersökning och interventioner inom evidensbaserad fysioterapi 1 (5 hp)
• Fysioterapeuten i interprofessionell samverkan i yrkeslivet (10 hp)

Course Description

The course "Fysioterapi som ämne och yrke inom svensk hälso- och sjukvĺrd" (5 hp) aims to develop students' knowledge of the Swedish healthcare system and the role of physiotherapists within it. The course covers the development of physiotherapy, evidence-based practice, and career paths, as well as reflections on professional attitudes.

Course Objectives

• Introducing students to physiotherapy in the Swedish healthcare system
