Arbetsformer
The teaching is based on a problem-oriented and collaborative approach to learning, where the working methods provide the conditions for the student to take active responsibility for their learning. The working methods used are theoretical self-studies, written study assignments individually and in groups, lectures, discussions virtually and at physical seminars, and peer review. Communication between students and teachers takes place via the learning platform.
The degree project is carried out primarily in pairs under the supervision of a supervisor. Supervision is carried out individually or in groups. Continuous follow-up of the work's different parts is carried out during supervised, compulsory occasions during the term.
Other compulsory educational elements are: active participation in at least two degree project seminars, in addition to the defense of one's own degree project and opposition to another.
The examiner determines whether and how absence from compulsory educational elements can be made up. Until the student has participated in the compulsory educational elements or made up for absence in accordance with the examiner's instructions, the study results cannot be finalized. Absence from a compulsory educational element may mean that the student cannot make up for the occasion until the next time the course is given.
