Program Overview
ST-kurs i hudpatologi, 2026
The ST course in dermatopathology is a targeted education for future specialists in dermatovenereology. The course follows the recommendations of the Swedish Society of Dermatology and Venereology (SSDV).
Course Content
The course includes:
- Provtagningsrekommendationer (sampling recommendations)
- Diagnostik av inflammatoriska hudsjukdomar enligt karakteristiska histologiska mönster (diagnosis of inflammatory skin diseases based on characteristic histological patterns)
- Basal diagnostik av epiteliala och melanocytära hudtumörer (basic diagnosis of epithelial and melanocytic skin tumors)
- Fallgenomgĺng och quizzinlägg (case review and quiz entries)
Course Structure
The course consists of:
- 3 days of physical presence at Nya Karolinska Solna/Bio Clinicum
- 2 days of preparatory work on distance
- A total of 5 days, including two days for preparatory work
Target Group
The course is primarily aimed at ST doctors in dermatovenereology. The number of course places is limited to 25 people. ST doctors who have come furthest in their education have priority.

- Francesca Portelli, assistant senior physician, and specialist in pathology
- Sofi Vikström, specialist doctor in pathology
- Tobias Näsman, specialist doctor in pathology
Time and Place
The course is planned to be held in 2026 at Nya Karolinska Solna/Bio Clinicum.
Price
The price is 9,000 SEK, excluding VAT. The price includes coffee, lunch, and a course dinner for all three days on site.
