Studium Generale
The Studium Generale is a program that offers students a reflective approach to diverse knowledge cultures and critical self-reflection. The program is part of the Bachelor's degree programs in the Faculty of Humanities and allows students to expand their knowledge beyond their chosen major and minor subjects.
Crossdisciplinary Learning
The Studium Generale offers crossdisciplinary learning opportunities through the Crossdisciplinary Learning (CDL) program, which includes over 650 elective courses from almost all fields of study at the University of Hamburg. The program also offers special courses funded by the Excellence Strategy, which are closely related to the university's strategic development goals and central research topics.
Anmeldung and Teilnahme
Students can register for courses in the CDL program through the STiNE registration phases. Students majoring in the Faculty of Humanities can take CDL courses as part of the Studium Generale program.
